MorphoSys Receives “Capital Investor Relations Award 2010”

MorphoSys has been awarded with the “Capital Investor Relations Award 2010” as best company in the TecDAX index. The business magazine 'Capital' and the German Association of Financial and Asset Management (DVFA) rated the quality of investor relations departments of the most important German and European companies. The "Capital Investor Relations Award 2010", which is supported by Deloitte, is based on an international survey of 400 analysts and fund managers in 300 financial institutions. Overall, some 14,000 individual judgments on 198 companies were analyzed this year. The financial professionals evaluate the quality of IR work using four criteria: target-orientation, transparency, track record and additional financial reporting.

MorphoSys Recognized as Technology Pioneer 2009 by the World Economic Forum

In December 2008 MorphoSys was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer 2009. The World Economic Forum has selected 34 companies out of more than 320 applications from 15 countries for their accomplishments as innovators, and their work’s current and future impact on business and society. The Technology Pioneers program of the Forum aims to recognize companies that have contributed to the Forum’s mission of improving the state of the world and are at the forefront of technology and innovation. To be selected as a Technology Pioneer, a company must be involved in the development of life-changing technology innovation and have the potential for long-term impact on business and society. In addition, it must demonstrate visionary leadership and show all the signs of being a long-standing market leader - and its technology must be proven.

MorphoSys and Novartis receive Sachs Associates’ “European Pharma Deal of the Year Award”

MorphoSys strategic alliance with Novartis signed in December 2007 has been recognized as the “European Pharma Deal of the Year” in Sachs Associates’ Life Science Innovation Awards. The award was presented at the first European Life Science CEO Forum for Investing & Partnering in Biotech, Medtech, Speciality Pharma & Emerging Markets, in Zurich in April 2008. A panel of expert judges from both the pharma industry and the financial community voted in favor of MorphoSys up to 10-year alliance with the Swiss pharma company Novartis, which includes committed payments in excess of US$600 million over the lifetime of the agreement, certain co-development rights for selected programs as well as rights to co-detail the resulting products in specific territories through creation of its own sales force. The awards were organised by DyoDelta Biosciences.

MorphoSys AG has been awarded in the image campaign “Germany - Land of Ideas”

“Germany - Land of Ideas”, a joint initiative of the German government and German commerce and industry under the patronage of Germany’s Federal President Horst Köhler, has elected MorphoSys as one of 356 landmarks in the Land of Ideas. In a nationwide competition a total of “365 places in the Land of Ideas” were selected and presented to the public, both national and international. More than 1,200 institutions, private and public, cultural and ecclesiastical, memorial places, museums, social projects, companies, scientific research centers or universities applied for the title.

MorphoSys receives Deloittes “Sustained Excellence Award”

MorphoSys has been awarded in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50-Award as one out of three winners in the “Sustained Excellence” category. The Fast 50 award program focuses on technology growth companies from the areas IT, Communication and Life Sciences. The newly created “Sustained Excellence Award” recognizes companies that have translated fast growth rates into a sustained financial success. Companies applying for the bonus award are measured by competitive advantage, management excellence, attractiveness of the market segment and financial key performance indices.

MorphoSys recognized in STEP Award

MorphoSys has been awarded in the STEP Award competition in the category “Financials”. The award initiated in 2006 by Infraserv Höchst and F.A.Z.-Institut - Innovationsprojekte honors growth companies in the areas of pharmaceutics, chemistry, life sciences as well as bio- and nanotechnology. In 2006, some 100 companies from Germany, Switzerland and Austria applied for the STEP Award.

MorphoSys recognized for Growth in Europe’s 500 Ranking

MorphoSys AG has been recognized as one of Europe’s 500 leading job creating entrepreneurial companies in the annual Europe’s 500 listing for the third consecutive year. The 2007 listing measured company performances regarding growth in turnover and employment in fiscal years 2003 to 2006 and included mid-size, high-growth companies from 24 European countries. MorphoSys ranked among the top 50 German companies in the 2007’s Europe’s 500 ranking.

MorphoSys recognized in Manager Magazin’s annual report ranking

MorphoSys has been commended for its Annual Report 2005. It ranked third in the TecDax segment in the “Best Annual Report 2005” ranking performed by business magazine Manager-Magazin. More than 200 annual reports from companies listed in the DAX 30, MDAX, SDAX, TecDAX and DJ STOXX 50 indexes were evaluated in terms of content, appearance and language. In Manager-Magazin’s “Best Annual Report 2006” ranking the Annual Report 2006 ranked fourth.

MorphoSys Annual Report 2006 recognized in LACP’s Vision Award

MorphoSys was honored in the Vision Awards Annual Report Competition for its Annual Report 2006. For the second consecutive year, the Company’s report was awarded the platinum medal in the renowned international competition which attracted more than 2,500 entries comprising annual reports from 21 countries. MorphoSys’s annual report placed first in the Competition Class “Biotechnology” and, in total, ranked among the top 20 reports. The competition is organized by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), an organization that encourages excellence in the practice of communications.

MorphoSys Annual Reports receive ARC Silver Medals

MorphoSys was honored with the ARC Award for its Annual Reports 2004 and 2005. The Company’s annual reports were awarded the silver medal in the overall ranking of the International Annual Reports Competition, which is among the most prestigious international prizes for annual reports. The competition is organized by the International Academy of Communications and Sciences / MerComm, Inc., in New York. For the 2006 annual report competition, 1,900 reports were submitted in 12 categories.
